A court located in Jos, correctional Center has remanded a 42-year-old man identified as Jacob Joel, for reportedly defiling an 11-year-old girl, confessing that the devil tempted him to rape her.
According to the police report, the victim, who is a friend to the defendant’s daughter was said to have reportedly been raped by the defendant when she went to visit her friend.

The arrested suspect pleaded not guilty to the crime.
It was also reported, the victim went to visit her friend at home but couldn’t meet her as she has already gone out but the victim met the accused person alone. He dragged her with a knife and have carnal knowledge of her.
The court has ordered that the defendant should be remanded in prison until Dec.7, for a hearing.
