Veteran musician, Eedris Abdulkareem has waded into the controversial arrest of veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu by the Department of Secret Service (DSS)
Recall the actor was in the news this week after some men of the Nigerian Army manhandled him around Upper Iweka, Onitsha for wearing an outfit with the colours of Biafra.
He was however released from their custody but later picked up by DSS for questioning.
In his reaction, Eedris, a vocal voice against the present government couldn’t even understand why the actor was arrested in the first place, as he opined that the actor’s arrest was largely due to the fact that he’s an Igbo man.
In his prediction, he said that in no distance time, people will be arrested for speaking Igbo dialect in Nigeria as he labeled the present APC ruling government, one without usefulness.
He wrote;
