A woman whose name is not given has been attacked by hoodlums, snatched her car and, abducted her two kids. It was reported the incident took place at Leo area of akure, Ondo state, mainly in front of the victim’s house.
The Ondo State Police Command stated that she had earlier sent his team to investigate the incident.
The PPRO, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the incident revealed that the hoodlums had earlier snatched a car from someone which they drove to where they attack the woman and abduct her two kids.
The PPRO who refused to reveal the identity of the victim said an investigation is ongoing and the Anti-kidnapping Unit of the Command has begun searching for the suspects.
She said, “We are already on the matter, investigation has begun. Our men at the Anti-Kidnapping Unit are already out to rescue the two kids and arrest the hoodlums and I’m assuring you that the kids will be rescued and the hoodlums would soon be arrested.”
Also, an eyewitness who wants to remain anonymous said the middle-aged woman was returning home in her Toyota Camry when the hoodlums appears and snatched her car from her and abducted her two kids.
The eyewitness said efforts made by commercial motorcyclists to stop the car proved abortive.
“The woman was going to her house in her car with two children. On getting to the gate of the house, she parked and came out of the vehicle to open her gate. It was then the boys came out from nowhere and entered into the car and drove away.”
