Nollywood legend, Chiwetalu Agu has become a topic of discussion over the weekend after he was allegedly manhandled by the men of Nigerian army.
His arrest has attracted several reactions from Nigerians as well as his fans with many condemning the act from the Nigerian Army.
A recent report by Punch, it revealed that, Chiwetalu Agu has been released and reportedly handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS).
However, the new update about the veteran actor has again sparked a second phase of reaction from Nigerians and this time, it involves some of the prominent personalities.
One of those who has stepped out to condemn the recent moves by the Nigerian army and DSS includes a well-known Nollywood Actor, Charles Okocha widely known as Igwe 2Pac.
The talented actor recently took to his Instagram page to react over the handing over re-arrest of Chiwetalu Agu’s by DSS as he called for immediate release of the actor.
According to Charles, he stated that Chiwetalu Agu doesn’t deserve the treatment he is getting because of his age.
He wrote:
“I Condemned This Unbreakable Act It’s Totally Unacceptable What Has Chiwetalu Agu, Done This Makes No Sense”
